General

What is GroupWire?

GroupWire is a WhatsApp-first publishing workspace for teams and communities. It helps users create, preview, publish, schedule, and track WhatsApp content from one web app.

Who is GroupWire for?

Solo community managers, small teams, agencies, and multi-brand teams that publish regularly to WhatsApp groups or channels.

Is GroupWire only for WhatsApp?

WhatsApp is the core workflow. Eligible plans can also support WordPress publishing and Facebook Page cross-posting.

Can I use GroupWire on mobile?

Yes. GroupWire is an installable mobile-first PWA with responsive navigation, offline fallback, and browser push support.

WhatsApp publishing

How does GroupWire connect to WhatsApp?

Each channel links a WhatsApp Web session by scanning a QR code. GroupWire does not claim an official WhatsApp partnership.

Can each channel have its own WhatsApp account?

Yes. Each channel is an isolated publishing unit with its own WhatsApp Web connection.

Can I save groups and channels?

Yes. Save WhatsApp destinations and organize recurring audiences into named destination lists.

Can I schedule and retry posts?

Yes. Schedule content in the channel timezone and retry failed or partially failed publishing attempts.

Content and teams

Does GroupWire include AI content creation?

Yes. Configurable AI agents help generate and refine text in a chat-style editor. Templates store reusable structures and formatting.

Can managers review content?

Approval settings and a manager review queue support review before publishing. This is a review workflow, not a guaranteed hard publishing block.

What roles are available?

Tenant managers, channel managers, and content editors. Managers and editors are scoped to assigned channels.

Can I attach images and videos?

Yes. Image watermarking uses the channel logo, and video watermarking is available on eligible plans.

Integrations and security

Does GroupWire integrate with WordPress and Facebook?

Eligible plans can generate or publish WordPress posts and optionally cross-post to a connected Facebook Page.

Does GroupWire have an API?

Business workspaces can create API keys and outbound webhooks. API requests use the X-GroupWire-Api-Key header.

Does GroupWire support 2FA?

Yes. Users can configure TOTP with an authenticator app, and Business workspaces can require 2FA.

Can I bring my own OpenAI API key?

Workspace managers can configure and test an optional OpenAI API key override in workspace settings.

Billing

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Tenant managers can review billing and change plans from the GroupWire billing area.

Which payment providers are supported?

Checkout may use Stripe, PayPal, or Cardcom depending on the provider active for the service.

Which plan includes API and webhooks?

API keys and outbound webhooks are Business features.
